The description of these shoes says the heel is 3" (7.6cm) however in the pictures the heel only looks about a 2cm heel, can you please verify this? I'm after what is in the picture but not if they are in fact 3" heels. Thank you.

I usually wear a size 8 1/2. Would you suggest I order an 8 or 9? Also, could I see some pics of shoe with 1 inch heel in dark purple as well? Thanks.

Normally , it is better to choose bigger shoes, which will not be so pinching.The pictures on the site are all the picture we have for the shoes.
